Vogue V8333 is a Claire Shaeffer sewing pattern published by Vogue. We know Claire Shaeffer from the books: The Couture Cardigan Jacket, Making Designers Trims and The Couture Skirt. She describes in her books how Coco Chanel designed her famous Chanel jacket, the faux wrap skirt and other classics. The sewing pattern V8333 is not a sewing pattern for a classic Chanel jacket, but a tailor-made jacket. It is almost a personal workshop/study to learn many couture sewing techniques. 
Simplicty 4954 is a sewing pattern for a Chanel-Style jacket. We have lined this jacket with a special beautiful Cupro Silk according to the sewing techniques à la Chanel couture. The result: a wonderfully fitting jacket to wear on a daily base!
 Authentic couture Chanel jackets are priceless. This is not surprising because they are exclusively tailor-made for the rich and famous. Making a Chanel-style jacket yourself is a dream for many seamstresses. However, this is not cheap either because the Bouclé and Tweed fabrics are often expensive. But we have managed to make a 'BUDGET Chanel-style jacket' for inspiration!
 Recently we made a red silk blouse with the sewing pattern Butterick B6710. Later we made a pink silk cupro silk blouse. And made of stretch silk: a white blouse from chain fabric. Silk is a very nice fabric to work with and to wear. But we do have some tips to make the sewing project easier.
 Vogue V1562 is a sewing pattern for a chic jacket. It is a difficult sewing pattern but a fun and educational challenge. We have made the jacket in two green colors. A beautiful strong twill cotton in moss green and mint green, available at Budget fabrics.
