Et maintenant: The Chanel catwalk for Autumn/Winter 2023/2024. We LOVE it and it is VERY Chanel in all details and looks!

Last year, the fashion house CHANEL opened its fashion show with Charlotte Casiraghi, Prince Albert of Monaco's niece, riding her horse down the catwalk. Charlotte is a dressage rider and an ambassador for the fashion house. This playful action led to a lot of criticism because the animal welfare organizations said that a horse does not belong on the catwalk.
A few days ago, Stella McCarthy, fashion designer, vegan and animal lover par excellence, decided to do it completely differently. Horse-friendly and with a fashion message:  The dress on this picture is a combination of a bolero and a skirt which is 16 meters (17,49 yards!) wide! Why would you need a dress like that... Well it is party time, or time for an exclusive photoshoot.
But of course you can also make this skirt simpler, slightly less wide, so that it is nice to wear during a party, festival or event. |
