Once upon a time there was a kitchen princess who wanted a special kitchen apron. She wanted an exclusive lady-like apron. No problem because:
Spoonflower has a beautiful fabric that you could even wear to a gala
KNIP-Mode has a beautiful sewing pattern for a kitchen apron with many extras
and after some magic with the sewing machine, a kitchen apron, an oven glove and a tea towel was created for the kitchen princess, which met all her wishes.
The magazine KNIP-Mode (Dutch-European) featured a sewing pattern of a kitchen apron and an oven glove. It is a feminine kitchen apron because of the wrinkles above the waistband, which also give a lot of freedom of movement. In addition, the apron is very handy because of the extra loop where you can hang a towel and the large pocket on the front. We made the apron and the oven glove from Spoonflower fabric.
The sewing pattern for the kitchen apron is also available at Sewingpatterns.shop as a PDF file:

The sewing pattern of the oven glove cannot be purchased separately, but you don't need a sewing pattern for that either. Circle your own hand with 5 cm. extra on each side or take the measurements of an oven glove that you probably have lying around somewhere.
Extensive work descriptions with photos in the Dutch language, but because of all the detailed pictures, it should not be a problem to follow the process step-by-step.
Whether you are a kitchen princess or not, a kitchen apron is always a must-have. A kitchen apron is not difficult to make and you can add many details. This apron made of Spoonflower fabric has many extras, making it a real eye-catcher.
Good food, good mood. And vice-versa! And with this kitchen apron you will immediately get in a good 'mood' for making good food ;>)
