 The ideal bag for the garden center; a Garden Tote Bag! This is an XL shopping bag that is strong enough to transport pots with plants, and yes, also a bag of potting soil! The bag has a nylon lining and can get dirty. It is easily cleaned with a wet cloth. The bag is very useful and is fun to make. The bag is not easy to make but it is a great job if you already have a lot of sewing experience. The difficulty is mainly in the front with zipper, the extra pocket, and the bottom that is strong because of Decovil 1, but not easy to sew. We also added a pencil case. Ideal for smaller items or for storing plant labels, for example. You can read everything about the sewing pattern, the work description and detailed photos here. It is in the Dutch language, but the photos should be enough to understand the job. You can also use Google translations. Summarized: Making a bag to carry heavy garden equipment is a great idea. Especially if you like to go to garden shopping centers or plant markets. This bag can handle weight and yet it does not hurt your shoulders because of the soft handles. The bag is also chic because of the embroidery and all the extra details. You can make the bag yourself. Take your time and enjoy the sewing project.
