The sewing patterns and the casual style
The sewing patterns are simple and also suitable for beginners. If you've always wanted to make your own clothes, but don't dare, then this book is a great first step. The instructions, at the back of the book, are clearly indicated with drawings, text and diagrams. You will have to copy the sewing patterns to pattern paper from a radar sheet, but this "puzzle" can also be done for beginners. In addition, Lotta mainly works with easy fabrics that are pleasant to work with during cutting and sewing. They are not complicated fabrics or stretchy / elastic fabrics, but mainly wool, linen, canvas and cotton.
The sewing patterns are:
In the book you will also find ideas and patterns for scarves, bracelets, patchwork scarves, pompoms for children's hats and necklaces. Summarized: The book is a must-have for those who are a bit fed up with the demanding fashion trends. The motto of this book is mainly: wear or make whatever you want and choose your own unique and sustainable style. This style is mainly sober in shape, comfortable and casual. In addition, the style is as cheerful, colorful or sober as you want due to your choice of colors and designs of the fabrics. Lotta shows the same clothes in cheerful prints, for example, but also in solid gray colors. This gives the garment a completely different look. The cover of the book actually says it all: a woman in a long, green / yellow / white dress. This dress is sober and casual in style, but also beautiful and elegant at the same time. And what's more, this dress is easy to make yourself! Comments are closed.
