Bye Instagram, Hello Pinterest!

We have left Instagram. Bye, bye! But we are getting more enthousiast about  Pinterest each new day, each new picture! Hello Pinterst, we love you.

We have left Instagram. It had no added value for our website and customer service is not at home in case of problems. Did you ever had problems with Instagram? There is no customer seervice, no email or telephone number available.  You are directed to the help-centre and hopefully you wil get your answer or help. But if not, you can be blocked, hacked or gone for ever.

Marketing for the website?
Instagram is nice to follow other people, companies and friends.  It is all about getting a lot of followers and likes allover.  But does is really works to get people to link to the website? Google Analystics learn the truth: almost NONE traffic links from Instagram directly to the website. Even by using linktree, people just stay on Instagram and never leave  Instagram to take a look at the websites/blog behind the posts.

And than there is Pinterest. It looks like it is all about collecting and saving pictures. A lot of pictures! But there is more. The pictures will show up on Google and the traffic to the website is more than you would have expected.
It is also very easy to claim your own website and to 'pin' pictures while you are working on a blog. It is a time-saving business, especially if you save the pin-option in your bar under the browser.

We will focus more on Pinterest and hope to meet you there. We will follow all your pictures and links about sewing, Chanel couture, and Diy-adventures.  And we hope you will do the same.

And... it saves a lot of time compared to uploading and posting pictures on Instagram. the time to spend on creating blogs for the websites and to focus on sewingprojects!  Yeah!
