The book is informative, colorful and looks very modern/stylish.
Lots of informations, good illustrations, beautiful pictures. Basics sewing techniques explained. Finally a good guide, intense illustrated, hand-sewing techniques. Great home furnishings ideas; good illustrations, easy to follow instructions. Information about fabrics for dressmaking and home furnishings as well. |
Not interesting for advanced seamstress.
Half book is about home furnishings...... A nice gift for a beginner, too basic for seamstress with more advanced skills. Sewing Bible ?...... Not my dearest daily sewing handbook |
Notes:
++ It is very stimulating to finally start making new curtains, covering cushions and pillows and repairing the slipcovers of the sofa. The home furnishings is a very nice part of the book. .
